Mass. Ave. was closed to all traffic starting about noon Oct. 15 between Charles Street and Taft Avenue because of an accident involving a single vehicle and two pedestrians at Bow Street, near Wicked Bagel, in Lexington.
Both pedestrians were transported to area hospitals. No additional information was available by midafternoon, Select Board member Diane Mahon reported to the Arlington List Facebook group, citing the sources as the Town of Lexington Firefighters Local 1491. The photo was posted by Steph Marie.
“Drivers can expect heavy traffic delays for several hours,” Mahon wrote. “Please avoid the area if possible.”
