A wide-ranging sale of items to raise money for a good cause, dubbed “heARTfelt,” to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, was held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at 170 Washington St., Arlington, the home of Ellen Eisner.
She said that 18 vendors are expected to sell their wares: original art, photography, cards, prints, tea towels, totes, jewelry, crochet, origami, woodworks, macrame, artisan coffee, granola, cookies and brownies.
Visitors also may expect raffles, live music, complimentary wine and more, Eisner told YourArlington recently via email.
It’s a cause that she feels strongly about supporting. “Today I am cancer-free, but not a day goes by when I don’t reflect gratitude for advances in the understanding and treatment of breast cancer — advances that made meaningful differences in my own treatment.”
The vendors present each will have their own policies as to what forms of payment are accepted, which could include cash, checks, debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo and Zelle, she said.
Eisner is captain of B.E. the Team, a team that participates in the Jimmy Fund Walk each October in Boston.
