During an Aug. 11 appearance in the Roxbury Division of Boston Municipal Court, prosecutors requested that all arraignments be continued at a later date. As a result, the cases are scheduled to return to court on Aug. 26, the Boston Herald reported.  The newspaper also reported that a 57-year-old woman from Putney, Vermont, and a 56-year-old woman from Brooklyn, N.Y. were summonsed to court for charges of trespassing and disturbing the peace.

The unauthorized banner was hoisted shortly before 8 p.m. by members of the group Extinction Rebellion Boston, who planned the action over several weeks to help draw attention to environmental issues, according to Matthew Kearney, a spokesman for the group.
