September 26, 2024

UPDATED Sept. 29: The Jason Russell House is summer’s site for weekly outdoor beer gardens and live music through Sept. 28 when conditions allow. From approximately 12:30 to 6 p.m. Saturdays, residents can expect to enjoy the afternoon with refreshments, live music and food to purchase from Menotomy Grill and American Beverage.

Events concluded Saturday, Sept. 28, with The Great Northeast Jug Band Festival, featuring Jim Kweskin

Organized by Menotomy Grill and co-sponsored by the Arlington Historical Society, the weekly event at 7 Jason St. is free to attend, open to the public and takes place unless weather interferes.

Arlingtonians are advised to check this Facebook presence or this page for periodic updates about band scheduling, food and drink providers and any possible delays or cancellations.

These family-friendly events, in a shaded setting, are intended to promote the Arlington Historical Society, the Jason Russell House and overall awareness of the centuries-old history of Arlington.
