Neighbors Eating All Together (NEAT) is hosting another one of its monthly free community dinners, Saturday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. The volunteer organization is dedicated to offering inclusive and welcoming meals in Arlington.
These meals take place at the Arlington High School (869 Mass. Ave.) through the rear Pierce Field entrance. Previously, the dinners have been provided by local restaurants; NEAT has served pasta dishes, pizza, kebab, BBQ and more.
Dinner guests are sat at tables with fresh flowers, pitchers of water and fresh bread and butter. At each event, salad is served first, followed by a hot dinner. Plates are cleared by volunteer servers, and guests are invited to a dessert table with tea and decaf coffee. NEAT also provides free fruit for attendees to take home.
