UPDATED: Local artists were invited to submit up to four pieces to Arlington Community Education’s annual cover art contest. This competition ws open to artists high-school-aged and up.
The deadline to be considered was Saturday, July 1.
Three winners will each receive $250 and exposure to an audience of more than 50,000 in exchange for use of their artwork, an ACE spokeswoman said.
All media are welcome, including watercolor, acrylics, prints, photography, oil, collage, quilting, assemblage, stained glass, etching, handmade paper, mosaic and so on.
Pieces from three different local artists will be selected to be featured on the cover of the fall 2023, winter 2024 and spring 2024 catalogs.
