In observance of the Juneteenth holiday today, Friday, June 19, the town is reminding residents of closures and schedule changes for businesses and offices across town. Trash and recyling collection will not be impacted by these holiday hours; the schedule remains the same.
On Thursday, June 18, both Town Hall (730 Mass. Ave.) and the Community Center (27 Maple St.) will close at 4 p.m.
On the Juneteenth holiday, Arlington libraries and the following town offices will be closed for the day;
- Town Hall
- Community Center
- Recreation Office, 17 Irving St.
- DPW Administrative Office, 51 Grove St.
- Inspectional Services, 51 Grove St.
- APD Records Room, 112 Mystic St.
- Fire Administrative Office, 411 Mass. Ave.
