The Arlington Select Board has scheduled a meeting Monday, Sept. 15 at 7:15 p.m. within the Select Board chambers at Town Hall (730 Mass. Ave). The meeting is also open to remote participation via Zoom.
According to the agenda, the board is prepared to hear a proclamation from members of ArlingtonEATS regarding the recognition of a “Hunger Action Day,” devoted to local efforts to fight food insecurity. Additionally, the town’s director of the Department of Equity and Inclusion will discuss banners honoring Hispanic Heritage month, which is celebrated Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.
The board will also discuss the latest updates on the new Arlington High School turf fields.
