The Arlington Select Board is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 16, in person at the Select Board Chambers (Town Hall, 730 Mass. Ave., second floor) or virtually via Zoom.
According to this agenda, the board has planned appointments to various town committees, including the Poet Laureate screening committee and the Transportation Advisory Committee. Additionally, there is scheduled to be a discussion regarding the latter committee’s ability to review traffic rules and orders, as well as a speed regulation recommendation.
The board will also hear a request regarding the installment of a plaque honoring “VisiCalc,” the first person computer spreadhseet application which was created in Arlington at 231 Broadway.
