The Arlington Select Board is scheduled to meet at 7:15 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18, in person at the Select Board Chambers (Town Hall, 730 Mass. Ave., second floor) or virtually via Zoom.
The agenda says the board is prepared to review the end-of-the-year budget, as well as discuss and have a potential vote regarding property-tax classification. Additionally, there are two proclamations to be presented; an officially acknowledgment of “Small Business Saturday” and an announcement about “Dr. George F. Grant Day” to be commemorated on Dec. 12. Grant developed the first golf tee on his property in town and was also the first African American on Harvard’s faculty.
