MWRA completing water-main work
The Broadway Plaza reconstruction, which is advancing, is a continuation of the Arlington Center sidewalk project. Completion is estimated for June.
During this phase of the work, the fencing will be expanded in front of Starbucks, a temporary pedestrian detour will be created, and businesses will remain open.
The reconstruction includes replacing the plaza surface, tree planting, benches and some new landscaping. Work is contingent on weather and other factors.
