Partners include Resilient Mystic Collaborative, Museum of Science
The Town of Arlington, on behalf of the Resilience Mystic Collaborative, has been awarded $186,200 from the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program for the Wicked Hot Mystic Project.
The project will provide participating communities with tools to combat extreme heat in the Mystic River Watershed.
Citizen science data collection, public education materials and events, and local artists will contribute to the project and engage residents in understanding extreme heat events.
