UPDATED, July 6: The town has begun replacing sidewalk surfaces in the Center n the center of town between Pleasant Street and Franklin Street along Mass. Ave. and Broadway.
Mobilization and project prep work took place the week of June 27, and sidewalk activities begin the week of July 6 on the sidewalks around 297 Broadway and on the west side of Medford Street. Work will include the removal and disposal of existing walks and construction of new walks prior to moving on to the next section of the project. The project map will be updated as the work progresses.

VHB, the town’s consultant, has prepared a preliminary design for sidewalk improvements in the Center, which was shared at an information session last Nov. 20. The public made comments until Dec. 4.
