Many supporters of the Fox Library gathered at the East Arlington branch Thursday, Oct. 26, to celebrate its centennial, sponsored by the Arlington Libraries Foundation.
The children had a birthday-card, arts-and-crafts activity, and the adults with speaking parts were brief, before many ate anniversary cake from Quebrada Bakery.
To also mark the centennial, local historian Richard Duffy posted on the Robbins Library blog part two of his two-part series telling the history in words and images of the Fox.
