Sylvia Press has celebrated 30 years at Minuteman Senior Services, in Bedford, where she has been a care manager in the Arlington area, helping older people live safely and independently at home.
“I have worked together with Sylvia for many years,” Lourie August, a social worker at the Arlington Council on Aging, said in a news release. “Sylvia is very dedicated to her work with Arlington elders, going above and beyond in her efforts to help seniors get the services they need ….
“Even after these many years, she continues to be exemplary in providing services to seniors in a caring and resourceful manner.”
And from one of the elders she has helped, “I love Sylvia, I consider her family, she helps me and always comes with a smile and makes me feel heard.”
Minuteman Senior Services is a regional nonprofit organization serving Arlington and 15 other communities. It accepts donations in celebration of Sylvia or in honor of a loved one through our website.
