Early on the morning of Monday, July 13, Ray Charbonneau of East Arlington set up camp by the side of the Minuteman Bike Path to shoot some video.
Here’s what the 4 minutes and 20 seconds of life on the bikeway near the town dog park shows:
He wrote: “I’ve always loved that song.
“At one point, a cop came by to tell me that someone had called to complain that I was in the way of the bike traffic. Here’s a shot of my video nest at the end of Thorndike Street:
“You decide. Somehow, everyone managed to avoid running into me.
“One guy kept looking over suspiciously as he walked past, then turned to come back and ask what group I was with. He had trouble accepting that I wasn’t there to gather evidence for someone – he seemed to have a number of potential causes in mind.
“But most people ignored me. It was a Monday morning, after all.”
Asked why he did this, Charbonneau wrote:
“I just figured it would make for an interesting video. I chose that particular spot because it’s busy and the light’s good. I expected more dog activity to add to the interest, but it seems to have been a quiet morning.”
