Society of St. Vincent de Paul fall clothing drive

Saint Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Clothing Drive (October 2026)

It’s that time of year again; are you going through your closets to switch over for the fall and winter seasons?  Please consider donating any gently used clothes you can to the SVdP Clothing Drive.  We will be collecting donated clothes from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Saturday, Oct. 3, and 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 pm on Sunday, Oct. 4 at St. Agnes Church, 32 Medford St., Arlington,; just look for SVdP tent on Medford Street where Vincentians can help unload your car. With winter approaching, needs are high, and your generosity is always greatly appreciated!

We will also be collecting diapers for our Mary’s Cradle program for those in need, as diapers are not covered by any of the federal assistance programs. You can bring them with, or in lieu of, a clothing donation.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Arlington seeks to walk with and assist the people of Arlington experiencing crisis or poverty. Vincentians create relationships with those we serve regardless of their religion, ethnic or social background.  See  www.svdpcparl.org for more information on our organization.

How We Help: The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Arlington takes a personal approach to our mission to assist those in need and less fortunate. Our trained volunteers meet with clients in their homes, discuss their needs and work with them to determine how we can help them stabilize and improve their situation. We provide assistance with rent, utilities, food, home furnishings, clothing, and other life expenses. Since all of our members are volunteers, nearly 100% of all donations are used to help those in need.
