In his blog headlined "Arlington Test-Drives Safer Intersection Designs at Mass. Ave. and Appleton," teen activist Petru Sofio writes that the ban solves just one of a number of issues at the intersection, and confuses drivers.

"Arlington wants something more practical to work full-time," he writes.
