Free antibullying class held at Zhen Ren Chuan
Zhen Ren Chuan Martial Arts will present “Rise Above,” a free antibullying seminar for 6- through 14-year-olds, on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Zhen Ren Chuan is proud to bring this program to its location, 301 Broadway, for the first time. The free program is aimed at teaching practical strategies for identifying and dealing with bullying behavior and how to “buddy” rather than “bully” others.
“Bullying is still a huge problem, and we believe that no other industry is better equipped to end bullying than martial arts,” says Charles DeVirgilio, owner/head instructor of Zhen Ren Chuan Martial Arts. “We hope you’ll come out and see the strategies we are teaching for yourself.”
To sign up for the program, call the studio at 781-646-8660 and reserve your spot.
Zhen Ren Chuan Martial Arts is a proud member of Martial Artists Against Bullying. The school has been offering free community events for the past 37 years at this location.
