Police probe East Arlington robbery attempt

UPDATED, Nov. 18: Town police are investigating an attempted robbery in East Arlington on Friday, Nov. 15.

The police twitter feed says that a man dressed all in black with his face covered by a mask entered Arlington Convenience, 245 Mass. Ave., about 8 p.m.

It is unclear from the post what the suspect was armed with or what may have been stolen. The feed includes this photo >> 

Capt. Richard Flynn, Arlington police spokesman, was asked Nov. 18 to clarify these details and provide a report, but declined to do so, saying the matter remains under investigation.

Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is urged to call police at 781-316-1212.
