The Menotomy Concert Series plans to present Letitia Stevens, soprano, and Leonardo Ciampa, pianist and composer, in Arlington Town Hall on Friday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m.

The concert is free; donations are gratefully accepted, organizers said.

The program is to begin with two G. F. Handel arias, "Tu la mia stella sei" and "Piangero," both from "Giulio Cesare in Egitto."

Next is a composition by Ciampa: "Les quatre elements," set to verses from "Seul(1891) by Edmond Haraucourt. The four songs, named after the elements water, earth, air and fire, are "L'eau: Il pleut sur la mer," "La terre: Sur la montagne," "L'air: Oh, ta voix!" and "Le feu: "Maia."

Four arias are to conclude the program: "Qui la Voce" from Bellini's "I Puritani"; "Oh nube! Che lieve" from Donizetti's "Maria Stuarda"; "Tacea la Notte" from Verdi's "Il Trovatore"; and "Steal me Sweet Thief" from Menotti's "The Old Maid and the Thief."
