Cantilena is auditioning sopranos and altos for its spring concert. 

Interested in joining a friendly midsize Arlington chorus with mainly contemporary classical repertoire? To persons who sing in the soprano or alto range, Cantilena is scheduling auditions to take place during two consecutive Monday rehearsals, Jan. 16 and 23.

Rehearsals and concerts are at First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Arlington, 630 Mass. Ave., a fully accessible building.

Auditions are held after a brief 7:30 p.m. open rehearsal. Please specify which nights you are available.

The spring concert is set for Sunday, May 7. Its title is "Fired Up!," a call for equality and activism.
