Libraries are places for inspiration and creation. In Nov., we invite you to make something new at the library! Join our National Novel Writing Month "write-in" program s, make a new recipe at the Cookbook Club, or make more peace in your life with our mindfulness and stress-taming programs.  We're here to help you make something new, something exciting, and something joyful in Nov..

Fox Walking Club

Mondays, Nov. 28

Fox Library 

We will meet at the library and walk between 1.5-3 miles mostly along the Arlington Cultural District and Minuteman Bikeway. This is a great way to stay active and make some new friends in your community. Getting regular physical activity is one of the best things you can do for your health. All ages welcome! Weather permitting.

Nov.’s book, The Chosen and the Beautiful, by Nghi Vo is a queer reimagining of The Great Gatsby. We get the story through the eyes of Jordan who is now a queer woman adopted from Vietnam. Along with this shift in point of view, Vo brings dark magic into the mix.

2nd Annual Fox Tiny Art Show

Fox Library
Come pick up a blank tiny canvas from the Fox Library anytime in December. Get creative and decorate the canvas at home with whatever medium you prefer. Return the canvas when you're done and we will display everyone's beautiful artwork during the month of January.  All ages are welcome to participate!

Join us at the Fox for a puppet show with Margaret Moody Puppets!  Only Mrs. Piggle Wiggle’s magic can convince the grimy Mathilda to take a bath. This story is a light-hearted adaptation of a Betty Macdonald story, told with needle-felted pig puppets.   Please pick up a ticket 1/2 hour before the program.
