The word has come down from the Select Board that the remodel and update to the veterans memorial [in Arlington Center] will now be included in the work schedule sometime in 2027.
How about preparing the site now and updating the listing when the vetted listing of those from Arlington that has served is completed? I guess we are supposed to just accept the decision to once again postpone the project. This is a disgrace for a town like Arlington to continue to make excuses to delay this project.
Very vague schedule: “sometime during the construction time in 2027.” Just keep kicking the can down the road.
