The play structure at Cutter School/Reinhart Park Playground, located between Robbins Road and School Street, has been closed after the town’s playground safety inspector deemed it unsafe, the town said in an announcement.
Caution tape has been placed around the play structure and temporary fencing will be installed in the coming days. The Recreation Department will be working with Public Works in the coming weeks to remove the equipment, according to the town.
“The Park and Recreation Commission will review its Capital Improvement Plans at an upcoming meeting to discuss the concerns with Cutter School /Reinhart Playground and possible next steps for this recreational area,” according to the announcement.
