The teeming rain moved the Arlington High School Commencement inside on Saturday, June 7, but the graduation went on.
The move from Peirce Field to inside the new high school.
In welcoming the class of 2025 and their families, Principal Matthew Janger to the 159th annual graduation ceremony for Arlington High School noted that this was a first in his tenure.
“You are the inaugural class. This is the first time in my 12 years at AHS that held graduation indoors because of the weather. This is the first time we have held graduation in this brand new gym,” Janger said.
