The Arlington School Committee is scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in person, at the Arlington Public School District Office (14 Mill Brook Drive) on the second floor, or virtually via Zoom.
According to this agenda, the committee is prepared to discuss and potentially vote on a matter regarding traffic supervisors. Additionally, this meeting will include a welcome to the school district’s visitors from Japan via the Arlington-Nagaokakyo sister city partnership.
The committee will also host a public hearing regarding school choice; whether or not to allow nonresident students at Arlington School District. This is a matter that is reaffirmed annually; currently, the district does not allow this.
