The Town of Arlington Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program has released its draft evaluation for year 49, and the public may comment through Sept. 10,
CDBG funds are distributed by the federal government for community-based programs that facilitate decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities, principally for persons of low- and moderate-incomes.
The evaluation summarizes CDBG goals undertaken in Arlington during the period from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. The town seeks feedback on its efforts to meet the goals and objectives described in the HUD-approved plan. View the draft here >>
Public comment will be accepted from Monday, Aug. 26, through 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10. Upon timely request, the town will provide reasonable accommodation to enable individuals with disabilities or limited English proficiency to participate in public comment, including access to materials in alternative formats.
All comments received will be summarized in the citizen participation plan section of the final report sent to HUD. The town’s responses will be included in the final report.
