Here is a guide to using Your View, this place for opinion at YourArlington.com and the site's only blog, though links to other blog are welcome.

To add your opinions -- usually a column and longer than a simple comment, you must be a registered user. To become one, click here >>

After the publisher has approved your registration, then log in with your username and password at the Login button, below the YourArlington nameplate at left. Once logged in, go to Your View, in the top navigation bar. The first drop-down option is Your View dashboard. Click on it.

That brings up a navigation bar: Click on Write New Entry.

1.) Write a headline where it says "Blog title."

2.) Write or copy and paste text in the large window. Best to use PLAIN TEXT, not MS Word.

3.) Options to the right of that window allow you to add tags and trackbacks as well as embed videos and search.

4.) Hit the Save button. at upper right. If you see something you want to change after that, you can still edit the file.

5.) Once your item is saved, the publlisher will be notified about your post. If it is deemed approriate, it will be published.

Note: Your opinion will be the top item under Your View. It will be the top item in the Your View box on the right of the site's front page.
